Water Main Installation On-Going North of East Lake Avenue

This past week the contractor installed water valves and vaults, fire hydrants, and made connections between with previously directionally drilled water mains along Bellwood Lane, Ralmark Lane, and Longmeadow Drive north of East Lake Avenue.

The contractor also completed the directional drilling of the new water main along Ralmark Lane from the cul-de-sac to Bellwood Lane.

No work was completed last week south of East Lake Avenue.

South of East Lake Avenue: Next week, the contractor is anticipating to complete the storm sewer improvements. The contractor will then begin and concrete curb & gutter replacements and paving of the stone trenches. Residents will be notified if any work will affect the access to their driveways.

North of East Lake Avenue: Next week, the contractor will perform water main testing on the previously installed water main along Bellwood Lane and Longmeadow Drive. The contractor will also continue to install fire hydrants, water valve and vaults, and make connections between the previously directional drilled water main along Ralmark Lane. The contractor will also begin directional drilling along Bellwood Lane from Ralmark Lane to Greenwood Road.

Due to the extreme heat conditions, the contractor did work reduced hours throughout the week and did not work on Friday, July 19th.

Thank you for your patience during the construction operations.
