Water Main Nearly Complete South of East Lake Avenue

This past week the contractor continued to install new water services to individual homes along Longmeadow Drive between Crestwood Lane and East Lake Avenue. The contractor also directionally drilled the new water main along Ralmark Lane from the cul-de-sac to Longmeadow Drive.

South of East Lake Avenue: The contractor will complete installing the new water services along Longmeadow Drive. The contractor is also anticipating making the connection between the new and existing water mains at the intersections of Knollwood Lane and Crestwood Lane. A water shut down will be required for this work. Residents will be notified 24-hours in advance of any scheduled water main shut down.

During water service installation and connection to the existing service, water to individual homes will be shut off for a short period of time. The contractor will knock on the door of any home that will not have water prior to turning it off.

North of East Lake Avenue: The contractor will directionally drill the new water main along Ralmark Lane from the cul-de-sac to Bellwood Drive. The contractor may also begin directional drilling along Bellwood Drive from Ralmark Lane across Greenwood Road.  The contractor will begin installing water valves and fire hydrants along the new water main previously directionally drilled in this area.

Thank you for your patience during the construction operations.
