Project scope consists of roadway paving, storm sewer repairs, new water main and parkway restoration. The project improvements include:

Water Services and Water Main Work Continues

This past week the contractor completed directional drilling the new water main along Bellwood Drive from Executive Lane to Ralmark Lane. The contractor continued to install new water services to individual homes along Longmeadow Drive between Glenview Road and Crestwood Lane.

Next week the contractor will complete testing on the newly installed water main along Longmeadow Drive from Crestwood Lane to East Lake Avenue. Water services will continue to be installed along Longmeadow Drive between Knollwood Lane and Crestwood Lane. Water main will be directionally drilled along Ralmark Lane from Longmeadow Drive to Bellwood Lane. The contractor may also begin installing fire hydrants and water valves on the previously installed water main north of East Lake Avenue.

During water service installation and connection to the existing service, water to individual homes will be shut off for a short period of time. The contractor will knock on the door of any home that will not have water prior to turning it off.
