Project scope consists of roadway paving, storm sewer repairs, new water main and parkway restoration. The project improvements include:

Water Main Along Greenwood Road On-Going

This past week the contractor performed water main testing along Bellwood, Ralmark, and Longmeadow Drive north of East Lake Avenue. The contractor also installed water main along Longmeadow Drive south of Ralmark Drive and along Greenwood Road from Bellwood to the south, including directional drilling under Greenwood Road.

Last week, south of East Lake Avenue, no work was performed on-site.

South of East Lake Avenue: Next week, the contractor is anticipating to complete the storm sewer improvements. The contractor will also complete the abandonment of the fire hydrants and water valves on the old water main system.

The contractor will begin spot concrete curb & gutter removal and replacements on Longmeadow Drive south of East Lake Avenue in the near future. Additional information will be passed along to residents regarding the procedures during this process, including parking restrictions and access to driveways.  

North of East Lake Avenue: Next week, the contractor will continue to install the water main along Greenwood Road and Bellwood Road. The contractor is also anticipating to directionally drill the water main in the East Lake Avenue Easement west of Longmeadow Drive. The contractor will also likely begin water service installations along Bellwood Lane.

During water service installation and connection to the existing service, water to individual homes will be shut off for a short period of time. The contractor will knock on the door of any home that will not have water prior to turning it off.
